About our bylines
Transparency
Jordan Mitchell and Casey O’Brien are the editorial bylines used by Basketball Arcade. They write and edit the games coverage on this site. Neither is a professional basketball player, coach, official or employee of any league or basketball organisation, and nothing published here should be read as coming from one.
We think this is worth stating prominently rather than burying. A lot of gaming content is published under names that imply expertise nobody has, and the implication does the work even when no explicit claim is made.
What our authors do have is a great deal of time spent inside the games they write about. Every strategy claim on this site was tested against the game it describes, and every number comes from that game’s own rules, which are published on its page. That is the basis for what we write — not credentials we do not hold.
How we work
The full process is in the editorial policy: what a page has to satisfy before it is published, how AI tools are and are not used, and why we only update a date when content has genuinely changed.
Verification and corrections are covered separately in the fact-checking policy. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
